How to Battle Student Behavior and Beat Teacher Burnout this Coming School Year with Gina Peluso and Rachel Nye

Are you praying that this year you can finally beat burnout but afraid that student behavior will win the battle?  In the past several years, there has been in an increase in behavior disruptions and difficulties in the classroom that are characteristically different than before the pandemic.  We know from research that teacher burnout can very well set the stage and cause a ripple effect which can impact student behavior, academics, etc.  However, if you are an educator, you know that difficult student behavior can also lead to teacher burnout.  So which came first?  The chicken (burnout) or the egg (behavior)?  And how can we prevent behavior issues from impacting our burnout?

Gina is a kindergarten teacher and classroom/behavior management coach for teachers. With over a decade of experience in the classroom, she knows first-hand what it's like to struggle to teach because you're constantly managing behaviors. Rachel is a special education teacher and certified trauma professional passionate about helping teachers shape student behavior through a trauma informed lens.  Gina and Rachel met on instagram and instantly realized their philosophies about behavior management were aligned. They realized they could have a bigger impact on teachers by working together. Their mission is to empower teachers to change student behavior in positive ways by equipping them with easy-to-implement behavior supports and have fun while they're at it!
